The Long Lake Campsite is a fully accessible, single occupancy site on the 6271 Road on Wrangell Island. Additional Info: Located at the Long Lake Recreation Site in Tongass National Forest, approximately 28 miles southeast of Wrangell via Forest Roads 6265, 6270, and 6271. Features a trailhead for the 0.6-mile Long Lake Trail leading to the north end of the lake and a rustic three-sided shelter (Long Lake Shelter). The shelter provides basic backcountry amenities including firewood and a 14-foot skiff with oars.
