Dispersed backpacking campsites along the Loch Leven Lakes Trail in Tahoe National Forest, accessible by a 2.5-3.6 mile hike from the trailhead near Big Bend (I-80 Exit 166). Campsites are first-come first-served around the three alpine lakes with shoreline and rocky basin locations. Fishing is generally good. Campfire permits required for fires, stoves, BBQs, and lanterns. No potable water or toilets at campsites; pack in/pack out. Restroom available at trailhead.
