Limber Pine Bench

Limber Pine Bench is a premier backcountry backpacking site on the San Bernardino Peak trail in the San Bernardino Mountains. Located at approximately 7,500 feet elevation, it features flat camping spots sheltered by twisted limber pines and rock walls, with stunning views over Mt. Baldy, San Bernardino Peak, Santa Ana, and Palomar Ranges. A nearby spring provides water (seasonal, not always reliable). Access requires an approximately 5.7-mile hike from the San Bernardino Peak trailhead near Angelus Oaks, CA, with 3,600 feet elevation gain round trip. Overnight stays require a San Gorgonio Wilderness permit.
