Lake Waccamaw State Park Campground

About this site

Lake Waccamaw State Park offers primitive group camping with five hike-in campsites nestled beneath the trees along the shores of Lake Waccamaw. Four sites accommodate groups of 25-35 people, and the fifth is a yurt campsite for up to 6 people. Each site has picnic tables, fire circles, and charcoal grills. Pit toilets are nearby, but there is no water or electricity onsite. Campers must check-in at the visitor center and display a parking pass. Additional Info: - Access to 9+ miles of hiking trails including Lakeshore Trail - Boating and fishing on Lake Waccamaw - Flush toilets, water spigots, and parking available in the park
