Lake Richie Campground

Lake Richie Campground is a wilderness camping destination located on the north shore of Lake Richie in Isle Royale National Park, accessible only by foot or canoe/kayak. Access requires portage from Intermediate Lake (0.6 miles), Moskey Basin (2.0 miles), Chippewa Harbor (1.2 miles), or Lake LeSage (0.6 miles). No private boat access. The campground features 6 tent sites: 4 first-come, first-served individual sites and 2 group sites that must be reserved in advance. A 2-night stay limit is enforced from June 1 through Labor Day annually. Additional Info: Seasonal composting toilets available. Non-potable water that must be filtered or treated. Campfires not permitted; self-contained stoves required.
