This rustic campground is ideal for those seeking a quiet retreat. The campground is shaded by upland hardwood forest and is situated on Gene's Pond, a lake offering paddling and fishing opportunities. There is a large parking area near the boat launch for vehicles and boat trailers. There are 14 sites for tent, small trailer and large trailer use. This is a "carry-in, carry-out" unit. Trash barrels are not provided. Please help keep the campground clean and take camping refuse to dumpsters located at the Gwinn Field Office. The campground is located 6.5 miles northwest of Felch via County Road 581 and County Road 422. Additional Info: Sites available on a first-come, first-served basis. Vault toilets and potable water from hand-pump well. No electrical hookups. Overnight fee $20. Maximum 15-day stay. Open year-round but not plowed in winter. Boat launch and fishing access on Gene's Pond.
