Lake Enid Recreation Site
About this site
A very popular day use area 5 km west of Wilmer, the site offers two short hiking trails and a dock. Camping permitted only in the developed portion of the recreation site. Additional Info: The site features approximately 7-10 camping spots scattered through the woods from the lake along the entrance road. Two pit toilets and fire rings are available at various camping spots. The area is popular for fishing, canoeing, mountain biking, and off-road vehicle use. A restored trail around the lake (approximately 2.6 km) provides hiking and biking opportunities. No garbage facilities are available; pack out all waste. The site is free and operates on a first-come, first-served basis year-round, depending on snow depths.
