La Salle Lake State Recreation Area is Minnesota's newest state recreation area, offering a campground with 39 drive-in sites featuring full electric, water, and sewer hookups. The campground includes spacious sites suitable for any size camping unit, hot showers, laundry facilities, flush toilets, drinking water, picnic areas, and a sanitation building. Additional amenities include a fishing pier, swimming beach, boat access, hiking trails, and two rentable cabins. The area surrounds Minnesota's deepest inland lake at 213 feet deep, with opportunities for fishing walleye, bluegill, northern pike, and crappie amid red and jack pine forests.
