Klapatche Park is a remote backcountry campsite located on the west side of Mount Rainier along the Wonderland Trail. The camp sits at approximately 5,500 feet elevation and offers access to scenic areas including St. Andrews Lake, the Tahoma Glacier, and St. Andrews Park. The site is accessible via a 10.6-mile hike from the Westside Road trailhead (8 miles on the road-turned-trail to St. Andrews Creek Trailhead, then 2.6 miles to the Wonderland Trail connection). Permits are required for backcountry camping.
