Generally, open May to October as weather and conditions allow. Northern most entry point to Toiyabe Crest tiol Recreation Trail by the Kingston Trailhead. Stock loading ramp available for horses or other pack animals. Additional Info: Kingston Campground is a developed site nestled along Kingston Creek in the Toiyabe Range at 7,100 feet elevation. The campground features 12 campsites with picnic tables and fire pits at each site, vault toilets, and a stock loading ramp. No potable water is available on site. The campground is first-come, first-served with no fees. Dogs must be leashed and certified weed-free hay is required for stock animals. Access is via a firm-packed dirt road suitable for 2WD vehicles. The campground serves as a staging area for hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and backpacking into the Toiyabe Range and Arc Dome Wilderness.
