Kendesnii Campground is the only National Park Service campground in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, located at Mile 27.8 on Nabesna Road. It offers 10 designated sites with picnic tables and fire rings, suitable for tents and small to medium RVs up to 25 feet. Vault toilets are available. It is free, first-come first-served, with no reservations. Drinking water is provided on-site. Access requires high-clearance vehicle recommended on gravel road; open year-round but winter access limited as road not plowed.
