Keller Peak Yellow Post #6 is one of nine individual free campsites in San Bernardino National Forest along Keller Peak Road (Forest Road 1N96), available first-come, first-served with no reservations. Each site accommodates a maximum of 8 people and 2 vehicles, with very limited space. Amenities include 1 picnic table and 1 fire ring per site. There are no restroom facilities or drinking water available; pack it in, pack it out. The road is paved but narrow, not recommended for trailers or RVs. Maximum stay is 14 days. Horses/pack animals are allowed with restrictions. Additional Info: Sites are near the Children's Forest Visitor Center, Exploration Trail, and Keller Peak Fire Lookout. Road may close in winter due to snow.
