Juniper Lake Campground
About this site
Juniper Lake Campground is a remote, tent-only facility located at 6,800 feet elevation on the eastern shore of Juniper Lake in the southeastern corner of Lassen Volcanic National Park. It offers spectacular views of Lassen Peak and access to backcountry trails including Horseshoe Lake, Snag Lake, and Mount Harkness Trail to a historic fire tower. Juniper Lake supports non-motorized boating, swimming, canoeing, and kayaking. The campground has individual first-come, first-served sites and two reservation-only group sites. Drinking water is not available; bring your own. Vault toilets are provided. No showers, dump station, electric, water, or sewer hookups. Additional Info: Located via a 13-mile rough gravel/paved road from Chester, CA. Pets allowed on leash. Fires allowed in rings. No potable water; food lockers provided at sites.
