HwTSII K’AE Additional Info: Upland campsite nestled in spruce trees with a nice view of the Gulkana River. HwTSII K’AE in Ahtna means “Beaver Dam Place”. This was the last place on the river many Ahtna would place fish traps since they believed that salmon upstream from this area didn’t taste as good. This is the last site before the West Fork.
