Hononegah Forest Preserve Campground is located within the 228-acre Hononegah Forest Preserve on the north bank of the Rock River in Rockton, Illinois. The campground offers 57 sites interspersed in a mature stand of white oaks and hickories, with tent and RV options including electric hookups. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Amenities include restrooms, showers, drinking water, dump station, playground, and boat launch for Rock River access. Sites are first-come, first-served with no reservations. Additional Info: Open April 16 to November 19. Rates: $17/unit resident, $27/unit non-resident (plus $10 electric hookup). 3-unit maximum per site (max 1 RV + 2 tents). Winter camping not permitted.
