CAT HIGHWAY 472 CAMP (Campground) Additional Info: Highway 472 Hunter's Camp is a designated primitive site inside the National Catahoula Wildlife Management Preserve within Kisatchie National Forest. Split into two locations across Hwy 472 (north in Winn Ranger District, south in Catahoula Ranger District). Offers group camping, tent camping, information boards, and vault toilets. Open year-round, first-come first-served, no fees. No potable water; self-contained RVs ok but no hookups. Primarily for hunters but open to all.
