Niblett's Bluff Park
About this site
Niblett's Bluff Park is a year-round public campground located on the Sabine River in Vinton, Louisiana. The park offers 50 shaded RV sites with water, electric (30 & 50 amp), and sewer hookups, as well as electric tent sites. Facilities include two boat launch ramps for fishing access, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a dump station, playground equipment, and a large indoor pavilion (seats 200) available for rent. The park has historical significance, preserving Civil War-era breastworks from Fort Niblett and Reconstruction-era structures including a railroad tram and church established in 1910. Park gates are closed from 8:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M., with quiet hours from 10:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M. The park hosts an annual Spring Fest each spring featuring food, crafts, music, and a Battle of Niblett's Bluff re-enactment.
