Highway 472 Camp
About this site
Primitive camping area inside the National Catahoula Wildlife Management Preserve. Hwy 472 camp is split into 2 locations directly across from each other. Each facility provides group camping, tent camping, information board, and restrooms. Additional Info: The Highway 472 Hunter's Camp is inside the National Catahoula Wildlife Management Preserve and is mainly utilized by hunters but can also be used by anyone year-around. The location north of the highway is in the Winn Ranger District and south is in the Catahoula Ranger District. Potable water is not available at this site.
