Hickison Petroglyph Recreation Area - camp sites Additional Info: BLM-managed primitive campground with 16-17 first-come first-served sites accommodating tents, trailers, and RVs. Each site has gravel parking spur, picnic table, BBQ pedestal, fire ring, and grill. Some sites have shade ramadas. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Features self-guided 1/2-mile petroglyph trail, hiking, stargazing, and views of Big Smoky Valley and surrounding ranges. Open year-round at 6,500 feet elevation. No drinking water, cell service, or hookups.
