Hetch Hetchy Backpackers Campground is open all year but only reachable by car from sunrise to sunset. The campground is next to the overnight parking area. Only groups and individuals having a wilderness permit are allowed to stay here and only for 1 night prior to starting the trip and/or 1 night after. Fee is $8 per person. Additional Info: Campsites include food storage locker and picnic table. Water is available about a 10-15 minute walk away.
