Hennepin Canal Lock 26 Campground
About this site
Lock 26 is one of nine designated camping locations along the Hennepin Canal State Park in northwestern Illinois. The site offers Class C primitive camping (no showers or electricity) on a first-come, first-served basis. Campsites have vehicular access and allow tent, RV, and pop-up camping at the same rate. Amenities include outdoor toilets and picnic tables. No hookups are available. The only drinking water on the entire canal is located at the main visitor center parking lot. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 7 AM. Dogs are allowed at all sites.
