Hecla Point campground is a first-come, first-serve camping area within Curt Gowdy State Park, situated along Granite Lake in the scenic terrain between Cheyenne and Laramie. The campground offers 7 tent sites (numbered 10-16) that operate on a first-come, first-serve basis year-round. Additional Info: Water is available May 15 through September 30 but shut off October 1st; bring your own water in winter. Flush toilets and showers available year-round at the park's visitor center.
