HEAD OF THE DITCH (Campground) Additional Info: Head of the Ditch Campground sits in Luna Valley at 7,187 feet elevation, where the San Francisco River meets the historic ditch built by early settlers for irrigation. The campground features 5 campsites in a large open area with shaded sites. Basic facilities include picnic tables, fire rings, and pit toilets. The site is free and operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with a 14-day stay limit. Pets are allowed. The campground fills up quickly during Luna Pioneer Days and Rodeo weekend.
