Hares Canyon Horse Camp

Hares Canyon Horse Camp is a seasonal equestrian campground within L.L. Stub Stewart Memorial State Park, offering 13 full-hookup sites with four-stall corrals and 2 double sites with six-stall corrals, plus manure bins. Access to multi-use trails is available directly from the campground. A horse or pack animal is required to stay; it must arrive on the first day and remain for the entire reservation. Facilities include hot showers and flush toilets. Additional Info: Located near Buxton, Oregon, just west of Portland. Part of a park with over 20 miles of natural surface trails and connection to the 21-mile Banks-Vernonia State Trail.
