Miller Bar; is operated as a dispersed site, and is; located on large river bar on the beautiful Wild and Scenic Chetco River. Enjoy summer fun in the crystal clear waters of this outstanding river! A few shaded spots can be found along the treeline. Tents or small trailers only. Amazing. It was really fun to camp along the river on the rocks. It was also free (not $10). Almost no one else was there on a late October Tuesday. As far as services, there's a bathroom and dumpsters. The road in was a little steep and windy but doable by any car. The end of the road where it transitions to the beach is a different story with a massive drop off. Still easily doable in a vehicle with good ground clearance.
