About this site

Gunlock State Park sits on the shores of Gunlock Reservoir in southwestern Utah's stunning red rock landscape. The campground has been upgraded to offer 30 modern campsites, each equipped with electric and water hookups, covered picnic structures, and firepits. Clean restroom facilities with flush toilets and hot showers serve the camping area, and a dump station is available for RV users. The park's warm summer waters and mild winter climate make it a year-round destination for outdoor recreation. Visitors enjoy boating, fishing for crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, and catfish, swimming at the day-use beach, and exploring the scenic reservoir. When flows are sufficient, the park's waterfalls create a magical backdrop to the red rock setting. Adjacent BLM lands offer miles of dirt roads for off-road exploration. The campground also features three cottages available for nightly rental with a two-night minimum. Reservations are available through the Utah State Parks system.
