Green Mountain Campground
About this site
Free, primitive BLM campground featuring six well-spaced sites with picnic tables and fire rings, plus a vault toilet. Located on open ground at the top of a hill with panoramic views of lava flows, cinder cones, and the desert landscape of the Fort Rock and Christmas Valley area of central Oregon. Open year-round; first-come, first-served. Four-wheel drive vehicles recommended due to rugged access road. No drinking water available; pack out your trash. Nearby attractions include Crack-in-the-Ground Trailhead and Four Craters Lava Field. Nearest services in Christmas Valley, Oregon.
