Great Island Cabin Camp offers 23 rustic beachfront cabins on South Core Banks within Cape Lookout National Seashore. Each cabin has a porch, bunk beds with mattresses, private bathroom with hot water shower, propane stove/oven, and wiring for guest-supplied generators. Accessible only by ferry or private boat across Core Sound; 4WD vehicle and ORV permit required on island sand roads. Open March 12 to November 30, 2026.
