Gray Reef Reservoir Campground

Gray Reef Reservoir Campground is a scenic first-come, first-served camping area located on the North Platte River approximately 30 miles southwest of Casper, Wyoming. The campground features 10 campsites with picnic tables and allows campfires. Amenities include vault toilets and a barrier-free fishing pier. A boat ramp and parking lot are available for water access. The area is known for excellent fishing opportunities including brown trout, cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, and walleye. There are no hookups or potable water available. The water surface elevation of Gray Reef Reservoir fluctuates widely on a daily basis due to its function as a reregulating reservoir.
