Overview This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature. If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service. Additional Info: Grandjean Campground sits in a forest of ponderosa pine along Trail Creek with 31 sites. The campground features spacious, generously-sized sites including oversized and family-friendly options. Amenities include potable water, toilets, picnic tables, and fire pits. No hookups or showers are available. Pets are allowed and can be off-leash in designated areas. The area offers excellent hiking access, including the Idaho Centennial Trail south along Payette River to scenic alpine lakes. Natural hot springs are located 1.5 miles away, and Sawtooth Lodge with a swimming pool is one mile away. The campground operates seasonally from April to early November, weather permitting. A camp host is available to assist with site selection.
