Gitchell Creek is a backpacking campsite along the Lost Coast Trail in the King Range Wilderness. It is accessed by hiking, typically 11-12 miles from Spanish Creek or 4-5 miles from Black Sands Beach trailhead. The site is located after the third tidal zone and offers a scenic coastal setting with creek access. No vehicle access; bear canisters are required. Free dispersed camping is permitted in the area.
