General Butler State Park Campground

General Butler State Resort Park is a 791-acre park near Carrollton, Kentucky, featuring an extensive campground with over 100 campsites equipped with electric and water hookups and grills. The park offers two central service buildings with showers, restrooms, and laundry facilities. Amenities include a lodge with 53 rooms, 24 cottages, hiking trails around the lake, a scenic stone overlook, playground, mini-golf, tennis and volleyball courts, basketball court, fishing, boating, and a pool. The park preserves the Butler-Turpin family home built in 1859, a brick Greek revival-style residence open for tours. Reservations are available year-round.
