Eureka Dunes Campground
About this site
Remote primitive campground at the base of Eureka Dunes, the tallest sand dunes in California at 2,880 ft elevation. Located in remote Eureka Valley northwest of Death Valley National Park. Accessible only to high-clearance vehicles via established roads; 4WD recommended. First-come, first-served with 7 total sites featuring fire rings and picnic tables. No water, electricity, hookups, or garbage facilities. Vault toilet available. Pets allowed on leash (maximum 4 per site). No cell phone reception. Entrance fee required (Death Valley National Park pass).
