A primitive site that takes a bit of knowledge of the state forest and some confidence in your vehicle to reach. Doesn’t require 4wd, but something trail worthy. Has an outhouse and each of the 4 sites has its own fire pit, table, grill, and a big gravel area for the tents. You cannot drive up to the campsites, parking is nearby though. Additional Info: The campground is in Point Washington State Forest in Walton County, about 9 miles south of Freeport. It has four campsites, reservations are required, and the campground is open year-round. The sites are tent-only and do not have water or electric hookups.
