East Creek Equestrian Campground
About this site
East Creek Campground replaces Patterson Campground for horse camping and equestrian access to the South Warner Wilderness. Horses are no longer permitted in Patterson Campground or the Patterson Guard Station. Corrals and stock water are available at East Creek. East Creek Trail is closed due to the Blue Fire but there is easy access to Summit Trail. Additional Info: Located at 7,000 feet elevation in the Warner Mountains, the campground features picnic tables at each site, vault toilets, and potable water. Sites accommodate up to two vehicles per campsite. The campground is typically open late May through late October, weather permitting. Campers must pack out all trash as garbage service is not provided. Dogs must be kept on leash within the campground. Group size limit is 8 people per campsite with a 14-day stay limit.
