Eagle River Campground

Eagle River Campground is located in Chugach State Park along the Eagle River, operated by the Alaska State Parks system. The campground features 57 sites spread across multiple loops, accommodating both RVs and tents on paved pads. Eight sites accept reservations in advance through a third-party booking system, while the remaining sites operate on a first-come basis. The campground operates seasonally from May through September. Each campsite includes a picnic table and campfire pit. Amenities include drinking water from spigots, flush toilets, latrines, and a dump station. There are no electric, water, or sewer hookups. An overflow camping area with 10 additional sites is available. The campground is located near Eagle River Valley with access to salmon fishing and rafting. A campground host is on-site. Maximum stay is 3 nights. Wildlife in the area includes moose and bears. Military aircraft from nearby installations may create periodic noise.
