Doe Canyon Horse Camp is a remote, rustic horse camp located within Ohlone Wilderness Regional Preserve in southern Alameda County, California. The camp is accessible only by hiking or horseback riding via the 28-mile Ohlone Wilderness Trail. The wilderness area encompasses 9,737 acres centered around 3,817-foot Rose Peak and features grassy ridges, seasonal wildflowers, and wildlife including golden eagles, mountain lions, and tule elk. All water in the wilderness is non-potable and must be filtered, treated, or boiled for human consumption. Water from natural springs may not always be available.
