Dave Deacon Campground, also known as Hot Creek Campground, is a free campground in the Wayne E. Kirch Wildlife Management Area near Lund, Nevada. It offers about 25 gravel sites suitable for large RVs and tents, with pit toilets, drinking water, an RV dump station, picnic tables, fire rings, and shade structures. The campground is first-come, first-served with no reservations and is typically a mile from Hot Creek Springs. A camp host is often present. Access is via a graded dirt road off NV-318 at Nye County mile marker 20.9, which can be washboardy.
