Located just one mile north of downtown Bayfield, WI, this city-operated park features 30 primitive campsites nestled in a heavily wooded area on a scenic bluff, providing both privacy and breathtaking vistas. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, and most offer electricity. While there are no sewer hookups or on-site showers, modern vault toilets are available, ensuring an authentic camping experience. For those in need of shower facilities, the Bayfield Rec Center offers access for a small fee. Open from mid-May to mid-October, Dalrymple Park operates on a first-come, first-served basis, allowing visitors to enjoy its tranquil atmosphere without the hassle of reservations. Additional Info: 30 rustic tent and RV sites, electrical hookups at most sites, potable water available, vault toilets, leashed dogs welcomed, firewood available in town, RVs larger than 25 feet not recommended, campground opens May 17th 2025.
