About this site
This quiet ten-unit campground is located in mixed conifer forest approximately ten miles northeast of Portola. Tables, vault toilets, and fire rings are available. Water and garbage service is not provided. Pack out all trash. This campground is located adjacent to the historic Crocker Guard Station. Additional Info: Located at 5,787 feet elevation in Plumas National Forest, Beckwourth Ranger District. First-come, first-served. 14 day limit, 6 people per site, 2 vehicles per site. OHV use prohibited in campground. Popular for deer hunters in the fall. Near Lake Davis Recreation Area for fishing, boating, swimming, hiking.
