Cottonwood Lake Campground is a primitive campground with 10 sites in Bowstring State Forest, managed by Schoolcraft State Park. Each site includes a cleared area, fire ring, and table. It is wooded with pine, close to but not directly on Cottonwood Lake. All sites are first-come, first-served. Summer camping (first Saturday in May to second Sunday in September) limited to 14 days; rest of year to 21 days. Pets allowed.
