Cottonwood Campground
About this site
Cottonwood Campground is located near the south entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and is the closest campground inside the park to Interstate 10. The campground features 62 sites spread out and surrounded by desert rock and scrub, with stunning mountain views and excellent stargazing opportunities. Each site includes a picnic table and fire pit. Facilities include flush toilets with handicap accessible stalls, potable water spigots, and an RV dump station. There are no hookups, showers, or cell phone service. The campground is first-come, first-served and welcomes tents. Maximum vehicle length is approximately 19 feet. Dogs are not allowed on park trails.
