These 19 yellow post sites are individual camping sites. Each campsite is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. No reservations. Additional Info: Sand to Snow National Monument Yellow Post sites 17-19 are near the Pacific Crest Trail. Most sites are shaded by pine trees and a few are near seasonal Coon Creek. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. No restroom facilities or drinking water. Maximum 8 persons and 2 vehicles per site. Open year-round. Valid California Campfire Permit required. Reached via forest road Coon Creek Jump Off 1N02 off Hwy 38.
