Coldwater Canyon Yellow Post Site #18 (also known as Coldwater Camp) is one of three free roadside campsites along Forest Road 3N06A in the San Bernardino National Forest's Front Country Ranger District, near Lytle Creek, CA. It is first-come, first-served with no reservations, limited to 8 persons and 2 vehicles maximum, and has a 14-day camping limit within any 30-day period. Access requires high-clearance 4WD vehicles due to rocky road conditions; motorhomes and long trailers are not advised. Amenities include fire rings but no picnic tables, water, restrooms, or trash service—pack out all trash and follow Leave No Trace principles. Dogs must be leashed.
