Coffeepot Lake Recreation Site is a year-round, first-come-first-served camping area managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The site features 7 campsites, each with a picnic table and fire ring, plus one accessible vault toilet. A graveled boat launch and fishing dock are available. More than 900 acres bordering the lake are managed for wildlife habitat and recreational opportunities. Activities include fishing, boating, picnicking, camping, wildflower viewing, wildlife and waterfowl viewing, photography, and natural history appreciation. No potable water or garbage service is available; pack it in and pack it out. Campsites can fill quickly in spring, especially March through May. Beware of rattlesnakes from May through October.
