Cochrane Campground is located on the west bank of Gainesville Lake on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway. Access to the campground is from Highway 17, 10 miles south of Aliceville, AL. Approximately 2 miles from the Huyck Bridge, turn right at the sign for the Cochrane Recreation Area. Follow the paved road approximately 2 miles. The campground is located to the left. Additional Info: 60 sites with electric and water hookups. Tents allowed. Open all year. Managed by US Army Corps of Engineers.
