The City of Houghton RV Park is a small establishment that prides itself on providing a quiet, relaxing atmosphere for RVers. Located at 1100 West Lakeshore Drive along the Portage Waterway next to Ray Kestner Waterfront Park, it offers 25 paved sites with water and sewer connections, 20-30-50 amp electric service, Wi-Fi, picnic tables, park benches, and fire rings at most sites. Some sites have barbecue grills. No pop-up campers or tents accepted due to lack of bathroom/shower facilities. Adjacent city pier offers transient boat slips. Hosts Bridgefest in June and music concerts in August. Note: Some GPS may direct improperly; follow highway signs. Do not turn onto Houghton Canal Road. Change in 2026: No Dish Network offered.
