Chippewa Harbor

Chippewa Harbor Campground sits in a protected cove on Isle Royale's south shore, accessible only by boat, kayak, or on foot. The campground features four primitive shelters, two individual tent sites, and one group site. Overnight dock facilities are available with a normal depth of 7 feet. Amenities include campfire rings at tent sites and standing grills at shelters. No potable water, showers, or hookups are available. Pets are not allowed. The campground is free and operates on a first-come, first-served basis with a 3-day stay limit during June 1-Labor Day.
