Chippewa Campground
About this site
Chippewa Campground is located on the northeast shore of the 2,714-acre Chequamegon Waters Flowage in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. It offers 78 campsites across four loops (Rustic, Bass, Beaver, and another), equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, parking spurs, and tent areas in a shaded hardwood forest. The campground features drinking water, vault toilets, flush toilets and showers in three loops, a dump station, RV fill-up, swimming beach, fishing pier, canoe launch, boat landing, and a children's play area. 28 sites are reservable, 50 are first-come first-served. Bass Loop sites 31-49 have electric hookups. Roads are paved and narrow; sites accommodate RVs up to 40-45 feet. Open May through September, with Rustic Loop year-round (winter access unplowed). Pets allowed on leash.
