Herbster Campground
About this site
Herbster Campground is located on the shores of Lake Superior in the Town of Clover, Wisconsin. The campground offers tent sites right along the shore of Lake Superior, electric-only RV sites, and full RV sites with water and 50 amp electrical hookups. It is the only campground on the South Shore with beachside tent camping. The campground accommodates tents, tent campers, and full-sized motor homes. Amenities include ADA restrooms and showers, drinking water, picnic tables, firewood, WiFi, and phone service. A sanitary dump station is available. The Town of Clover Boat Launch is located five minutes away on Bark Point Road, providing access to Lake Superior. Miles of designated ATV trails and National Forest roads are accessible from the campground. Check-in is after 12:00 noon and check-out is before 11:00 a.m. Opening and closing dates are contingent upon weather; water may not be turned on until May thaw and is turned off early in October.
